Shiners can tolerate a wide range of water temperatures.
They will spawn once per year when the water temperatures reach 60 degrees or warmer.

Suckers do well in warm/cool water, however they prefer cooler water.
They will spawn once per year when water temperatures reach 45 degrees or warmer. Suckers have a fair survival reproduction rate.
Suckers are bottom feeders so they help to control the algae.
Suckers are an excellent forage option for a body of water with musky or northern pike.
Dry feed comes as floating or sinking and there are several sizes available.
Feed 1-3% of the body weight daily at approximately the same time each day. Be careful not to overfeed which can be detrimental to the water quality.
